Bob Murray: A Brief Retrospective Of His 10 Seasons At The Helm

Bob Murray officially took over as General Manager of the Anaheim Ducks on November 12th, 2008. Previous to being appointed to this position he had spent 3 seasons as the franchise’s Senior Vice President of Hockey Operations, as well as being the General Manager for the Portland Pirates (Anaheim’s AHL Affiliate at the time). Prior to joining the Ducks organisation in 2005, he had spent 5 seasons as a professional scout for the Vancouver Canucks and had spent 25 seasons with the Chicago Blackhawks. The years with the Blackhawks included 4 seasons as the Director of Player Personnel [ 1991-1995], 2 seasons as Assistant General Manager [1995-1997], and 2 seasons as the General Manager [1997-1999].
