The Anaheim Ducks season has been a series of ups and down. That trend continues as the Ducks are coming off of a good Western Canadian road trip where they earned 5 out of a possible 6 points, but bad news struck earlier today.
The Ducks announced that defensemen Cam Fowler will miss the next 3-5 weeks with a sprained knee.
Fowler was injured early in last Sunday’s 4-2 win against the Philadelphia Flyers. As he skated the puck into the offensive zone down the boards, Flyers defensemen Radko Gudas threw a hip check that trapped Fowler’s knee against the boards.
