Kong was a combined 4-0 in singles and doubles to help the Shockers to wins against Tulane and UT Arlington. She took a 6-4, 7-5 victory at No. 2 singles in a 4-1 win against the Green Wave and followed with a 6-1, 6-4 decision at No. 1 in a 4-2 victory against the Mavericks.
