IRVING, Texas – The American Athletic Conference has announced the winners of the league’s weekly softball honors, for the week ending Sunday, April 3.

Addison Barnard * So. *OF * Wichita State
Barnard was a key piece of a 3-1 Wichita State week that included a three-game sweep of Tulsa to kick off conference play in 2022 for the Shockers. Barnard batted .500 and led The American with five home runs, 14 RBI and a 1.833 slugging percentage during the week. Barnard homered and drove in three runs for Wichita State in a 10-8 win to open the Tulsa series on April 1.
