PROVIDENCE, R.I. - The American Athletic Conference has announced the winners of the league's weekly men's basketball honors for the 13th week of the college basketball season.
PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Markis McDuffie - Wichita State - Sr. - F - Paterson, N.J.
McDuffie paced the Shockers to a 2-0 week with home wins over SMU and Tulsa. The senior had 27 points and seven rebounds in Saturday's win over Tulsa. It was his ninth 20-point performance of the year. McDuffie averaged 21.0 points in the two Shocker wins last week and moved into the top-25 on the school's all-time scoring list.
