PROVIDENCE, R.I. – The American Athletic Conference has announced the winners of the league's weekly men's soccer honors for the week ending Sept. 27.
Offensive Player of the Week
Alejandro Garcia * Sr. * F * Cincinnati
Garcia scored the game-winning goal in the 85th minute in Cincinnati's 3-2 victory over No. 17/24 Temple Saturday evening at Gettler Stadium. It was the Bearcats' first victory over a ranked opponent since defeating No. 6 Louisville in 2013.The senior scored two of the three Cincinnati goals in the win and finished with four points last week.
