IRVING, Texas – The American Conference has announced the winners of the league’s weekly football honors from Week 2 of the 2025 season.
OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Byrum Brown • Sr. • QB • South Florida
Brown finished with 329 yards of total offense – the most of any player in the American in Week 2 – to lead South Florida to an 18-16 win at No. 13 Florida for the Bulls’ second consecutive win against a top-25 opponent. He completed 23 of 36 passes for 263 yards and a touchdown and rushed for 66 yards on 17 carries.
