USF's Cid Earns Third Straight American Athletic Conference Player of the Year Award

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – For the third consecutive season, USF senior Roberto Cid was chosen by the league's nine head coaches as the American Athletic Conference Men's Tennis Player of the Year.

Tulsa's Majed Kilani was named the Freshman of the Year, while Bulls' head coach Matt Hill was selected as the Coach of the Year for the third straight year.

Cid, the No. 2 ranked singles player in the ITA, led top-seeded USF to its third American Athletic Conference title. The senior was named the Most Outstanding Tournament Performer after producing four combined wins in singles and doubles.
