USF Wins American Men's Golf Championship for Second Consecutive Season

LECANTO, Fla. – No. 15 USF shot a 19-under-par 845 and defended their title to win the 2016 American Athletic Conference Men's Golf Championship by 20 strokes over runner-up and No. 39 Memphis Tuesday afternoon at Black Diamond Ranch.

The Bulls shot rounds of 285, 282 and 278, and placed four individuals among the top-6 to claim their third championship title in four years. The Tigers, who shot the second lowest round of the day, finished second with a three-round 1-over par total of 865 (294-290-281).
