USF Men's Basketball Team Reportedly Under Investigation for Academic Fraud

The NCAA is reportedly investigating the South Florida men's basketball program for potential academic fraud, according to ESPN.com's Jeff Goodman.

Goodman reported Wednesday that Oliver Antigua, a South Florida assistant coach and the brother of head coach Orlando Antigua, has "not been allowed to go out on the road recruiting this month."

Jeff Odom of the Tampa Bay Times reported that Oliver has resigned from his position as an assistant coach.

The school issued a statement about the NCAA investigation, which Goodman included in his report: "Because the University of South Florida is committed to protecting the integrity of the investigation and ensuring those involved receive fair treatment, we cannot provide any details about the investigation at this time.
