USF Leads American Men’s Golf Championship After 18 Holes

LECANTO, Fla. – Led by three players in the top six of the individual leaderboard, No. 15 USF posted a team score of 285 (-3) after the first round of the 2016 American Men's Golf Championship at Black Diamond Ranch Sunday afternoon in Lecanto, Fla.

Seniors Aksel Olsen (-2, 70), Chase Koepka (-1, 71) and sophomore Claudio Correa (-1, 71) paced the Bulls after the first 18 holes of play. USF has a two-stroke lead over second-place East Carolina (-1, 287) while No. 35 Houston recorded a 2-over par 290 for third.
