PROVIDENCE, R.I. – The American Athletic Conference has announced the winners of the league’s weekly men’s basketball honors for the seventh week of the college basketball season.
PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Jarron Cumberland – Cincinnati – Jr. – G – Wilmington, Ohio
Cumberland averaged a team-high 18.5 points, made eight three-pointers, shot 61.5-percent (8-of-13) from 3-point range and 52.0-percent (13-of-25) from the as he led Cincinnati to a 2-0 week. The junior registered his fifth 20-point game of 2018-19, pouring in a game-high 25 points in Cincinnati’s 93-64 victory over UCLA.
