PROVIDENCE, R.I. – The American Athletic Conference has announced the winners of the league's weekly baseball honors for the week-ending May 1.
AMERICAN ATHLETIC CONFERENCE PLAYER OF THE WEEK DeRoche-Duffin led UConn to three wins in four road games, including a series win at Memphis, as he hit .417 (5-for-12) and slugged 1.417 in the four contests. Four of his five hits were home runs as he scored seven runs and had seven RBIs in addition to six walks and a stolen base.
