UConn's Collier, Samuelson Named to AP and USBWA All-America Teams

NEW YORK – UConn women's basketball senior Napheesa Collier was named an AP First-Team All-American while fellow senior Katie Lou Samuelson was tabbed to the third team, as announced by the Associated Press Monday. The duo was again recognized on Tuesday as United States Basketball Writers Association (USBWA) announced its All-America lists, with Collier again landing on the First Team and Samuelson on the Second Team.

The senior duo have led UConn to its 12th straight NCAA Final Four this season, as well as the American Athletic Conference regular season and tournament titles.
