PROVIDENCE, R.I. – The American Athletic Conference has announced the winners of the league’s weekly outdoor track and field honors for the week ending April 14.
MALE TRACK ATHLETE OF THE WEEK
Davon DeMoss* Sr. * Memphis * Jackson, Tenn.
DeMoss, who earned All-America honors at the 2019 NCAA Indoor Championships in early March, was a double-winner at the Alabama Crimson Tide Invitational, taking first place in the 100-meter dash, while also winning the 4x100-meter relay title. The senior sprinter turned in two NCAA top-25 performances, winning the 100m in a season-best 10.
