IRVING, Texas – The American Athletic Conference has announced the winners of the league’s weekly golf honors for the week ending Tuesday, February 14.
Men’s Golf Player of the Week
Santiago De La Fuente, Jr. - Houston
De La Fuente turned in the best Houston performance for the Week at the Border Olympics at Loredo Country Club in Loredo, Texas, taking home first place at the tournament. He navigated the par-72, 7,204-yard course with a three-day score of four-under-par 216 (70-71-71), defeating three players ranked in the Golfstat Top 100 along the way.
