IRVING, Texas – The American Athletic Conference has announced the winners of the league’s weekly women’s volleyball honors, for the week ending Sunday, September 12.

McKenna Melville * Sr. * OH * UCF
Melville was dominant for UCF in a 2-1 weekend against quality opposition. Melville led The American with 5.93 points per set and posted the 10th-best conference hitting percentage at .322. Melville hit .353 with 16 kills to down FGCU on Sept. 10. In the nightcap against Florida State on Sept. 10, Melville went off with 27 kills and 28 digs in a thrilling five-set win.
