The UCF women's basketball team picked up its fourth win in a row with a 71-57 victory over Memphis in Addition Financial Arena on Saturday afternoon.
Following a similar pattern, UCF (16-3, 8-1 AAC) fell behind out of the gate as Memphis (13-7, 4-5 AAC) jumped out to a 7-0 start in the first two minutes. The Knights responded with a 9-0 run to take the lead with 2:21 left in the frame and were ahead 17-15 at the end of the first period.
The Black and Gold held the Tigers to just five points in the second quarter, adding 12 points of their own to build up a 29-20 lead at halftime.
