IRVING, Texas – The American Athletic Conference has announced the winners of the league’s weekly men’s soccer honors, for the week ending Sunday, October 24.
Offensive Player of the Week
Alex Meinhard * So. * F * Tulsa
Meinhard exploded on the offensive end for No. 11/5 Tulsa in a 5-0 clean sheet at home against Memphis on Oct. 22. Meinhard became the fourth player in conference history, and second this season (UCF’s Alessandro Campos on Sept. 11 against FGCU), to score four goals in a single match, converting four of his seven shots on frame in the win to take over the season lead in The American with 12 goals.
