IRVING, Texas – The American Athletic Conference has announced the winners of the league’s weekly women’s soccer awards for the ninth week of the 2022 season.
OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Kristen Scott, Sr., F, UCF
Scott scored four goals last week. The senior scored a brace in a 4-0 win over Cincinnati on Thursday before recording a pair of goals in a 3-2 road win at Tulsa.
DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Haylee Spray, Jr., D/M, Memphis
Spray helped the Tiger backline record a 2-0 shutout against Temple on Sunday while only allowing one shot on goal.
