ORLANDO, Fla. – The top three seeds won quarterfinal matches in the American Athletic Conference Women’s Tennis Championship Friday as UCF, SMU and Tulsa advanced to the semifinals, where they will be joined by No. 5-seeded Houston, the only lower-seeded team to get a win at the USTA National Campus.
Saturday’s semifinal round will have No. 46 Tulsa against No. 40 SMU at 10:30 a.m. ET, while Houston takes on No. 8 UCF at 11 a.m. ET.
