IRVING, Texas – The American Athletic Conference has announced the winners of the league’s weekly softball awards for the week ending Sunday, March 5.
Player of the Week
Claira Skaggs, So., 1B, Tulsa
Skaggs had an impressive week for the Golden Hurricane, recording hits in every game and scoring a run in four out of the five games played. She slashed .556/.556/1.167 with three home runs and eight RBI. Against Maine, she recorded five RBI, going 3-for-4 at the plate with two home runs.
