IRVING, Texas – The American Athletic Conference has announced the winners of the league’s weekly softball honors, for the week ending Sunday, April 18.
Player of the Week
Alexis Perry * Sr. * IF * Tulsa
Perry made a huge impact for Tulsa in her two starts of a weekend conference sweep against Memphis, batting .667 with a home run, nine RBI, a 1.500 slugging percentage and three runs scored. Perry opened the series reaching base in all five plate appearances, finishing 3-for-3 with two extra-base hits and seven RBI against the Tigers in game one on April 18.
