Tulsa’s Nadia Majidizadeh Tabbed American Women’s Golf Player of the Week

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Tulsa junior Nadia Majidizadeh was named the American Women's Golf Player of the Week, the conference announced on Wednesday.

Majidizadeh tied her career-best performance at the Rebel Intercollegiate on Apr. 1-3 after finishing sixth with a 3-over 219 (71-72-73). The senior recorded her third consecutive Top 20 finish during action at the 6,323-yard Ole Miss Golf Course. Majidizadeh tied for sixth in the 89-player field and led the Hurricane to a 9th place finish out of 15 teams.
