Junior defender Robin Lapert scored his second goal of the season and sophomore keeper Gianluca Catalano collected four saves in net, but the Huskies fell to Providence, 2-1, in overtime Tuesday afternoon at Dillon Stadium.
The match remained deadlocked 0-0 until the 30'. After UConn knocked the ball out of bounds to set up a Providence corner, Joao Serrano sent a pass inside the box that ended up curving into the back of the net to give the Friars a 1-0 lead.
