GRIMESLAND, N.C. – The University of Tulsa swept the 2015 American Athletic Conference Men's and Women's Cross Country Championships on Saturday morning. The Golden Hurricane men's and women's teams earn its second consecutive sweep of The American cross country championships.
Tulsa produced four of the top five finishers to claim its second consecutive men's cross country championship. Senior Marc Scott defeated the field for the second straight year to earn his second men's individual title. Scott crossed the finish line at 23:28.32, 10-plus seconds ahead of runner-up and teammate Nejamin Preisner (23:39.82). Luke Traynor followed in third at 23:42.
