Tulsa, Okla. – For a fourth consecutive season, Tulsa is on top of the The American cross country landscape, sweeping the team titles at the American Athletic Conference Cross Country Championships at Mohawk Park on Friday.
The Tulsa women earned a fourth straight women's 6K team championships (sixth overall) with a score of 37 points. Chloe Hershenow claimed the individual championship with a time of 20:40.4. The Golden Hurricane had two other top five finishers in Layla Roebke (third place; 20:57.0) and Kat Pesendorfer (fourth place; 20:58.6). Sarah Scott finished in 11th place for Tulsa, running the course with a time of 21:20.
