Tulsa Advances to NCAA Third Round with 1-0 Overtime Win

TULSA, Okla. – The Tulsa Golden Hurricane men’s soccer team advanced to the third round of the NCAA Men’s Soccer Championship on Sunday, defeating Georgetown 1-0 in overtime.

Tulsa (10-4-2) moves on the third round of the NCAA Championship and will take on Creighton, who defeated No. 2 Washington 3-1 in the second round. Game information will be released at a later date.

Regular time wasn’t enough to decide the game, as both teams were unable to score in regulation. It didn’t take long for the Hurricane to answer in overtime, though, as Luke Jeffus scored in the 92nd to put Tulsa up 1-0.
