CHAMPIONSHIP CENTRAL Tulsa and UCF played three scoreless innings before Jocelyn Sheffield got the Hurricane on the board with a two-run HR in the fourth. The Hurricane added two more runs in the fifth when Jodi Edmiston and Morgan Neal each crossed the plate.
TULSA, Okla. – Tournament host and No. 3 seed Tulsa defeated second-seeded UCF, 4-0, Friday afternoon in the semifinals of the American Softball Championship at the Collins Family Softball Complex. The Hurricane will face off with top-seeded USF in the championship title game Saturday at 11 a.m. CT on ESPN. The Bulls advanced to the title game by defeating Houston 4-1 on Friday.
