IRVING, Texas – The American Athletic Conference has announced the winners of the league’s weekly women’s swimming and diving honors, for the combined weeks ending Sunday, Dec. 6/Monday, Dec. 14.
Women’s Swimmer of the Week
Kate McDonald * Sr. * Tulane
McDonald picked up a pair of individual wins in a dual meet at LSU on Dec. 14, sweeping both breaststroke events. She swam the 100 breaststroke in a finals time of 1:01.59 for a conference best and NCAA B-cut, touching the wall by more than two seconds over teammate Christiana Williams.
