Top-Seeded Florida Races Past Cincinnati, 19-6, In Semifinal

GAINESVILLE, Florida – Grace Haus and Paisley Eagan scored four goals each and Shannon Kavanagh scored a pair of goals, including the 200th of her career, to lead top-seeded and No. 7/8-ranked Florida past Cincinnati 19-6 Thursday in the semifinals of the American Athletic Conference Women’s Lacrosse Championship at Donald R. Dizney Stadium.

The Gators (15-2) built a 14-2 halftime lead, finished with a 34-16 advantage in shots and scored six goals on free positions. Florida advances to face either Temple or Vanderbilt in Saturday’s championship final as the Gators improved to 3-0 all-time in The American Championship.
