PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Three teams and three individuals from the American Athletic Conference are headed to the NCAA Women’s Golf Regionals as announced during the Wednesday night selection show. The 2019 American champions Houston, along with UCF and ECU were selected as teams. Memphis’ Michaela Fletcher, SMU’s Brigette Dunne and Tulsa’s Lorena Tseng will compete as individuals.
Houston competes as the No. 8 seed at the NCAA Auburn Regional on May 6-8 at Saugahatchee Country Club in Opelika, Ala. From NCAA Regional play, 24 teams and 12 individuals will advance to the NCAA Championships, set for May 17-22 at Blessings Golf Club in Fayetteville, Ark.
