Two American Athletic Conference teams came away with wins in the league’s first weekend of the 2020 season. Memphis made a winner of new head coach Ryan Silverfield in his home debut as the Tigers scored a 37-24 win against Arkansas State at Liberty Bowl Memorial Stadium. QB Brady White led the way with four touchdown passes as part of a 275-yard day, while TE Sean Dykes returned to the lineup after a medical redshirt year to finish with 10 receptions for 137 yards and two TDs. RB Rodrigues Clark rushed for 105 yards and a TD in his first career start.
