The Temple women's basketball team (12-10, 7-4 AAC) got back in the win column on Saturday afternoon, defeating the Tulsa Golden Hurricane behind a triple-double performance from Aniya Gourdine. After a defensive battle in the opening minutes of the contest, the Owls took control in the second quarter to an eight-point lead into the half, a lead that they would not relinquish.
The win gave Head Coach Tonya Cardoza her 250th career win.
The first five minutes of the quarter was a defensive battle as the two sides combines for only four total points.
