PROVIDENCE, R.I. – The American Athletic Conference has announced the winners of the league’s weekly women’s lacrosse honors, for the week ending Monday, April 22.
Attacker of the Week
Maddie Gebert * Jr. * Temple
Gebert earned her second Attacker of the Week honor on the season following a 1-1 week that saw the Owls lock up the final spot in the American Athletic Conference tournament field. Against ECU on Saturday, the junior led Temple with four goals on six shots plus an assist for five points. The Owls cruised to an 18-5 win to rise to 2-2 in league play.
