PROVIDENCE, R.I. – The American Athletic Conference has announced the winners of the league’s weekly women’s lacrosse honors, for the week ending Monday, April 2.

Maddie Gebert * Jr. * Temple
Gebert was Temple’s spark as the Owls earned their first American Athletic Conference victory on Saturday. She scored a season-high five goals as Temple downed UConn 17-13 on the road, adding an assist for six points. Gebert twice rattled off back-to-back goals at crucial moments, putting the Owls ahead 10-7 and later 13-10 in the tightly-contested second half with the Huskies.
