IRVING, Texas – The American Athletic Conference has announced the winners of the league’s weekly women’s basketball honors, for the week ending Sunday, December 12.

Elisa Pinzan * Jr. * G * South Florida
Pinzan scored a game-high 24 points and hit 6-of-9 shot attempts for No. 17/19 South Florida in a 64-57 comeback win at VCU on Dec. 12. Pinzan tallied 22 of the 24 points in the second half and hit 3-of-4 attempts from 3-point range, helping the Bulls erase a 16-point deficit over the final 15 minutes of the contest.
