IRVING, Texas – The American Athletic Conference has announced the winners of the league’s weekly women’s basketball honors, for the week ending Sunday, February 20.
Player of the Week
Bethy Mununga * Sr. * F * South Florida
Mununga erupted for 22 points and 15 rebounds while playing all 40 minutes for South Florida in a 54-45 win against Cincinnati on Feb. 16. Mununga added four steals in the victory and shot 7-of-14 (.500) from the floor, hit 8-of-12 shots at the free-throw line and pulled down six offensive rebounds for the Bulls against the Bearcats.
