IRVING, Texas – The American Athletic Conference has announced the winners of the league’s weekly golf honors, for the competition week ending Tuesday, March 8.
Men’s Golf Player of the Week
Albin Bergstrom * Jr. * South Florida
Bergstrom led the way for South Florida during the Colleton River Collegiate on March 7-8 at the Colleton River Club Nicklaus Course in Bluffton, South Carolina. Bergstrom was in the medalist mix throughout and finished in solo third place one stroke off the pace with a three-round score of 13-under-par 203 (66-68-69) on the par-72, 7,042-yard configuration.
