South Florida Cruises Past South Carolina State, 63-14

TAMPA, Fla. — Byrum Brown threw four touchdown passes and South Florida scored three different ways in a dominant third quarter, rolling past South Carolina State 63-14 on Saturday at Raymond James Stadium.

Brown hit Jonathan Echols from 22 yards and Jackson Porter from 26 in the first half as the Bulls (3-1) took a 21-7 lead into the break. He then connected twice with Chas Nimrod in the third quarter — on strikes of 42 and 22 yards — as part of a 35-point eruption that put the game out of reach .

The defense and special teams joined the onslaught.
