IRVING, Texas – The American Athletic Conference has announced the winners of the league’s men’s and women’s golf players of the week, for the week ending Tuesday, March 16.
Men’s Golf Player of the Week
Mac Meissner * Jr. * SMU
Meissner was the top SMU individual finisher in a loaded field at the Valspar Collegiate on March 15-16 at the Floridian Golf Club in Palm City, Florida. In a field that featured nine top-40 teams and 18 top-100 ranked individuals in the latest GolfStat rankings, Meissner tied for fourth place at 6-under-par 207 with rounds of 67-69-71 on the par-71, 6,921-yard layout.
