IRVING, Texas – The American Athletic Conference has announced the winners of the league’s weekly women’s volleyball honors, for the week ending Sunday, March 14.
Offensive Player of the Week
Hannah Jacobs * Jr. * OH * SMU
Jacobs was an offensive force in a series sweep of Tulsa, helping 2-0 SMU take down the Golden Hurricane in straight sets. She averaged 5.75 points per set to rank second and hit .339 to rank eighth in The American for the week. Jacobs hit. 308 with 19 kills, four digs and three block assists in a three-set win over Tulsa on March 12.
