Offensive Players of the Week
Gabriel Costa * Sr. * M * SMU
Costa had a dynamic second half in the season-opener for No. 22 SMU against No. 8 Stanford, scoring a pair of goals within 15 seconds to power the Mustangs to a 3-1 upset of the Cardinal in Dallas. Costa headed home his own rebound off a saved penalty kick into the left corner of the net at 77:08 to give SMU a 2-1 lead.
