Kayla White scored a career-high 34 points to lead the SMU women's basketball team to a 60-49 victory over ECU in Moody Coliseum Thursday afternoon. White became the first Mustang to eclipse 30 points since Nov. 26, 2017, when McKenzie Adams finished with 35 at Nevada.
The victory was the fourth straight for the Mustangs, which is the longest streak since SMU went 4-0 midway through the 2016-17 season. SMU improved to 8-6 overall and 2-0 in league play for the first time as a member of the American Athletic Conference.
