Feron Hunt had a double-double and led four Mustangs in double figures as SMU defeated Temple, 79-68, Monday at Moody Coliseum in Dallas.
Hunt recorded 18 points and 11 rebounds, while Kendric Davis posted 20 points and eight assists for the Mustangs (7-2, 3-2 American Athletic Conference). Emmanuel Bandoumel (16 points) and Ethan Chargois (12 points) also posted double-digit points.
Damian Dunn and Brendan Barry both had 17 points for the Owls (1-3, 0-3).
