SMU 79, TCU 53
The SMU women's basketball team won in dominant fashion Sunday, claiming a 79-53 victory at TCU. Jasmine Smith tied the SMU single-game record with 11 assists, and Savannah Wilkinson posted her eighth double-double of the season.
Trailing 19-14, the Mustangs finished the first quarter on a 7-0 run to take a 21-19 lead after the first 10 minutes. It was the third lead change of the game and would be the last. TCU made the first basket of the second quarter to tie the score, but SMU then went on a 23-3 run over the remainder of the quarter.
