SMU Repeats as American Athletic Conference Women’s Rowing Champion

OAK RIDGE, Tenn. – No. 12 SMU won all four races and successfully defended its American Athletic Conference Women’s Rowing Championship Sunday, May 15, on Melton Lake in Oak Ridge.

The Mustangs finished with 168 points to win the team title. UCF finished as the runner-up for the second year in a row and totaled 144 points. Tulsa placed third with 104 points. Temple was fourth with 104 points as well, but the Golden Hurricane earned the tiebreaker by placement in the Varsity 8. Sacramento State was fifth with 76 points, while Old Dominion was sixth with 52 points.
