Six American Athletic Conference players are among the 98 defensive standouts from 66 schools on the preseason watch list for the 2020 Bronko Nagurski Trophy, which goes to the nation's top defensive player.
Cincinnati and UCF had two members of their respective defensive backfields named to the watch list as the Bearcats placed Darrick Forrest and James Wiggins while the Knights were represented by Richie Grant and Aaron Robinson.
Navy linebacker Diego Fagot and Temple defensive tackle Ifeanyi Maijeh were also chosen for the watch list.
