Prince Carries Tulsa to 27-16 Win at Temple

PHILADELPHIA - Deneric Prince rushed for a career-high 231 yards and scored two touchdowns as Tulsa overcame a slow start to take a 27-16 win against Temple Friday night at Lincoln Financial Field.

Prince had an 18-yard touchdown reception to put Tulsa on the board in the second quarter and he broke free for an 84-yard touchdown run in the fourth quarter to give the Golden Hurricane a 24-10 lead.

Tulsa (3-4, 1-2) trailed 10-0 after the first quarter after the Owls intercepted the first two passes from Golden Hurricane quarterback Davis Brin, including a 35-yard pick-six by Layton Jordan.
