Memphis' Win Over Ole Miss Leads Sunday Slate

Memphis 3, Ole Miss 1
A shorthanded Memphis side clawed their way to a 3-1 victory against Ole Miss Sunday evening. Playing with 10 players for the final 24 minutes of the match, two goals in the waning seconds of the contest yielded a Memphis win.

As regulation was winding down, the Tigers took a 2-1 lead in the 89th minute. A service sent in by Mya Jones was misplayed by the Ole Miss defense, giving the lead to Memphis on the own goal. Forty seconds later, with the Rebels scrambling to equalize, Clarissa Larisey sprinted down the pitch and sent a breakaway shot passed the Ole Miss keeper to seal the win.
